Audition Requirements for Teams
Prospective team members must audition during our summer Bootcamp week. Based on the auditions, we will provide placement recommendations that align with the studio’s resources and each dancer’s interests. Team members awaiting ranking and placement will need to take specific core classes to ensure proper technique. Besides the ONE requirement to belong to ONE team and adhere to the code of conduct, policies, and attendance commitments, dancers are free to enroll in additional or elective classes outside the studio.
Competitive Entry Rankings
Dancers will be classified into one of three competitive entry levels:
• Novice
• Intermediate
• Competitive
Novice/Intermediate/Competitive Offerings:
Example A:
• Solo (Genre: Hip Hop)
• Small Group (Genre: Hip Hop)
• Commitment: Enrollment in Int/Adv Hip Hop is required.
Example B:
• Duet (Genre: Contemporary)
• Two Groups (Genres: Contemporary and Lyrical)
• Commitment: Participation in one Ballet, one Contemporary, and one Lyrical class is required.
